On 17 December 2019, a delegation of Copyright Overseas Promotion Association (“COA”) visited Hong Kong Creative Industries Association and learned more about the HK-IWL scheme from its chairman, Mr. Robert Lee. On 20 March 2020, COA has entered into an MOU to become one of the participating rights holders of HK-IWL. Besides Content Overseas Distributors Association (“CODA”) from Japan, COA is now the second Asian copyright protection organization in support of this Scheme initiated by Hong Kong Creative Industries Association.
